Simpler Sign-In Process in Place to Access UBC Members-Only Content

An upgrade to the UBC Members-Only website portal and the Mobile App is making it easier to sign in with basic information such as your UBCID and date of birth.

Previously you had to remember and have access to the email address associated with your member record in order to recover your username or reset your password.   

The new process makes it easier to access the union’s growing catalog of members-only online features and programs available through the UBC Department of Education and Training (DET) and the Carpenters International Training Fund’s (CITF) Learning Management Systems (LMS). These include the CITF COVID-19 Preparedness course and the DET’s 101 Constitution course. 

In addition, members can update their contact information through the Members-Only section on carpenters.org. A new Quick Reference Guide lays out all the details—access it HERE.
