On October 15, 2019, ninth-grade girls from the Franklin County Technical High School received their first opportunity to explore careers in the trades; and they loved it! Organized by a female electrician, who is also a school alum, attendees included women from several different trades.
Sisters Lily Thompson, Julie Boucher, Samantha Darling-Crevier, and Liz Skidmore shared information about Carpenter careers. The girls were excited to learn about the many Tradeswomen career options, and the school plans to make this an annual event.
