Sisters in the North Atlantic States Regional Council have been helping organizations that meet community needs by hosting diaper drives. Northeastern Massachusetts Sisters hosted a drive to donate to Neighbors in Need, a nonprofit organization helping the citizens of the Lawrence area. The sisters donated thousands of diapers and a generous monetary donation from Local 339, with help from sisters Angela Lormeus, Angelita Velez, Faith Tajada and Regional Manager Kevin Kelly, who helped deliver the donation. 

In New Hampshire, Sisters from Locals 125 and 349 donated to the Amoskeag Health–Manchester Diaper Pantry, in addition to making a monetary donation. The organization’s director thanked the UBC members “for your thoughtfulness and compassion to help vulnerable families in need.”
